Keep Long Grove Residential

Please join us in opposing the currently pending special use permit application for 4359 IL-22 in Long Grove, IL.

The new owners of the property wish to turn their residential lot into a high traffic temple and community center.  The surrounding properties are entirely residential, so the large temple and community center would stick out like a sore thumb.  To date, the new owners have consistently flouted village ordinances and procedures, disturbing their residential neighbors.  They have already negatively impacted traffic flow on IL-22, especially considering that their driveway rests a mere 100 yards from the N Krueger Rd intersection (one of the most dangerous intersections in Long Grove).

If their Special Use Permit application is approved, this will be bad for:

• neighbors who thought they would be living in residential Long Grove,

• drivers who travel on IL-22 between Old McHenry Rd & IL-83, and

• other residents of Long Grove because of the precedent this establishes, which could affect the residential character of their neighborhood next!

Please join us in voicing your opposition to the issuance of a Special Use Permit and help Keep Residential Long Grove... Residential!!
